About the Speaker
David Hawreluk, CEO, Union Financial
David Hawreluk obtained his law degree from Queen’s University in 1993 and has practiced as a partner at both national and global law firms, including serving in leadership roles such as office managing partner and national Executive Committee member. He is currently a partner at DLA Piper Canada LLP in the Litigation, Arbitration and Investigations group. In 2022, David was appointed King’s Counsel in recognition of his contributions to law and community.
In addition to his legal career, David is a passionate businessman and entrepreneur. He has managed investment properties, farmland, and industrial developments, and is the founder of Union Lending Corporation, and Union Insurance Brokerage Corporation.
