As our Marketing and Corporate Development Advisor, Jared Smith leverages his strategic expertise and extensive network that has been created from his 25+ years of building businesses and supporting entrepreneurs.

An accomplished entrepreneur, Jared was named one of Avenue Magazine’s Top 40 Under 40, has won Entrepreneur of the Year Awards with BDC Canada and the Chamber of Commerce, and was recognized as one of Business in Edmonton Magazine’s Top 20 Business Leaders (2016).

Jared actively contributes to community building. He served as the past president of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (Edmonton Chapter) and currently sits on the Advisory Council for the University of Alberta School of Business.

Jared loves to seek mountain and ocean adventures with his wife Jessica and his children, Maddie and Kai. He is a 3rd Degree Black-belt in Karate, an active boxer, has a passion for cycling, and has led, endured, and completed a year-long training exercise culminating in a simulated Hellweek with the US Navy SEALs.
